Move over fish and chips, asian takeaway and even fast food chains. These days, it’s the burgers places which get the most customers during lunch time.
Currently, Loaf and Devotion is one of Sydney’s most talked about burger places, which is conveniently within reach of all different work offices in the Sydney CBD, located right in front of Wynyard park near the Wynyard train station.
Loaf and Devotion is indeed a very interesting play on the phrase ‘love and devotion‘ which is quite different from the usual restaurant name.
Loaf and Devotion offers a great variety of sandwiches and burgers from pulled pork to chicken schnitzel, beef, chipotle chicken, smoked salmon to even a combo of beef and pulled pork (yep! the Burgerzilla).
Due to the big sign outside the restaurant, I decided to try the pulled pork burger just to see how good it really was. You’ll be packing on a lot of calories while you demolish the huge burgers with such oversized filling. The pulled pork was however a little bit too sweet for my liking but the pineapple did do a bit of compensation for that over sweetness. I definitely would like to try other burgers in the near future as the burgers here are definitely really filling and there’s a huge variety on offer. As well as this, the bread is definitely worth biting into – that loud crunch as you bite into one!
