As well as absorbing the beautiful culture Japan has to offer, it’s definitely even more enjoying when you’re on the exciting hunt to find the different Kit Kat flavours that are available here in Japan.
So starting from the top to bottom row left to right, we have:
– oven bake creme brulee
– dark chocolate
– hot Japanese Chili flavour (Yawatayaisogoro Ichimi)
– Strawberry Cheese Cake flavour
– Beni Imo (Sweet Purple Potato)
– Red Bean Sandwich flavour (Azuki Sand Aji)
– Strawberry flavour (Amaou)
– Hokkaido Red Bean
There’s really no need to explain the flavours. The name says it all- because it tastes exactly what it should, but in the form of Kit Kat! For some flavours, it’s definitely very strange. The maccha, dark chocolate and the hojicha were amongst my favourites. Mainly because they weren’t too strange. The other flavours were quite odd for my likings.
The most popular, would definitely be the Maccha kit kats. Those sold in these bags aren’t the legit expensive but honestly, they all taste pretty much the same. The boxed ones are more expensive and are the official ones. You could find bags like these for around 250 yen on average which is ridiculously cheap!
Got this special box while on a cruise ship in Hakone (near Numazu). A place perfect to see Mount Fuji on a day with clear skies.
