Meet Fresh {food}

Meet Fresh offers Sydney with a taste of ‘traditional Taiwanese desserts‘ which originated from 2 masters- Mr & Mrs Fu. How did the name come about? Well customers wanted ‘fresh‘ healthy desserts, so the owners allowed customers to ‘meet‘ such ‘fresh‘ desserts.

I first came across Meet Fresh in Sydney Chinatown Haymarket at about 11pm on a Friday night. Seeing as it was new and quite busy, my friends & I decided to give this place a try. Not only was the atmosphere great, the desserts were really nice. As well as individual desserts,  you can also order desserts for 2 or groups to share.

Being someone who is of a Vietnamese background and always having Chè (Vietnamese Dessert Soup) for dessert, I find the combination of things such as red bean, taro, herbal jelly and pearls to be so amazingly delicious. And that is why this is such an interesting find for me!
[Note. Chè is usually of either red bean only or green bean dessert soup, you rarely have this combination like what Meet Fresh offers]

You don’t need to dine in, you can also order a take away, so instead of dining, I decided to take away from this Cabramatta store for the family 🙂

All the below desserts were ordered for $5.50, all of which were also cold. If you’re looking for something cheap and tasty, try the Herbal Signature (most popular). And if you also happen to be in the city, visit the Chinatown store, as it is still one of Meet Fresh’s popular locations to date.
