So I’ve got 4 weeks left of uni till I’ll lose my student title 😦 One of the worst parts is that just as it is my last semester at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), the uni decides to build a Westfield of food courts on campus!
Adding to the basic Quad food such as sushi, chips & wedges, kebabs, we now have IGA supermarket, Max Brenner, Share Tea, Moochi Frozen Yoghurt, Boost, Subway, Coco Cubano, Mamak Village, Bar Navitas, The Bistro, Stellini Pasta Bar, L’Clinique Cafe, Urban Espresso, Yummba Vegetarian and Guzman y Gomez.
Guzman y Gomez, one of Sydney’s popular Mexican food restaurants opened only last month at the University of New South Wales at the lower campus opening from 10am till 10pm every day.
Trying to finish a taxation assignment alongside the hungriness at 4pm in the afternoon, I decided to visit the newly Mexican place and try the ‘Kids Nachos’ side ($5) as well as the mini ‘Spicy Chicken Guerrero’ burrito ($6.90). Much to my delight, it was delicious. The flavouring of the burrito was well balanced and the rice in the burrito was well cooked and is definitely a good mix alongside all other ingredients (grilled chicken, pico de gallo & tomatillo salsa) within the wrap.
I definitely recommend everyone to try the burritos here. Even if you’re not much of a fan, try it once. I’m not much of a burrito fan. 1 fact also, I hate onions. But it was soooo delicious I didn’t even realise onions were in this- that’s only because the mixture of flavours was done well.
